We successfully completed a major project for the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine within the recently built new Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Edgbaston, Birmingham.
The project involved the installation and commissioning of a “Fibre to the Desk” solution including the installation of power within all of the offices, air conditioning within two new network hub rooms as well as the refurbishment of one of the rooms. This involved demolition works and rebuilding the room to the new design criteria. All power, ceilings and decoration works were completed by Project Associates. Due to our performance on this project, the NHS Trust has requested us to assist them with other projects.
One such project was that of supplying and installing the innovated ‘Self Check-In’
podiums. Six podiums were designed from proof of concept to completion and installed in various locations within the hospital. Our design team worked alongside Trust Representatives making various design suggestions and changes as required.
As well as the physical units we were also employed to install power supplies and data cabling to each of the Self Check-in podiums.
We are very proud to have been involved in this and can happily announce that this was delivered on time and to budget.
